The Eastside Spring League is for athletes in the 4th to 8th grades with skills between the select and recreation levels who are looking for a place to play that will make them better. It is a competitive league where scores and win-loss records are kept but also where play time is approximately equal over the season and coaches and refs are focused on highlighting teachable moments at every opportunity. ​

 

The league serves the greater eastside of metropolitan Seattle and is presented in partnership between CTB Basketball and Eastlake Select Basketball for the purpose of giving all eastside kids an opportunity to play the great game of basketball and be a part of all the growth, joy, and opportunities it brings.​

 

The CTB Eastside Spring League is open to both male and female athletes. Depending on sign-ups we will either run some dedicated, all-female teams or we will run co-ed teams, all carefully matched to ensure a great experience. We are 120% dedicated to advancing female athletes and hope to build a thriving girls league over time. Training for both girls and boys is always available.

 

The season will run March 24th through June 9th, which is 10 weeks. All games are played on Sunday afternoons in local eastside gyms.

3 Weeks of Training & Team Practice

Week one will be a full-length training session combined with draft day to form teams (all registrants get a spot). Then weeks 2 & 3 will be team practices to get ready for competitive play.

6 Weeks of Games

During weeks 4-9 we'll play a 40-minute game every Sunday, held at local eastside gyms.

Championship Weekend

The season will culminate in a championship weekend, where every team will play at least one game.

End of Season Awards

We'll celebrate the season with MVP awards for each team, the naming of first and second All-CTB Teams, as well as the crowning of our league champions.

Optional Skills Training

Additional weekly skills training sessions are available at additional cost for those who want to develop their game even more.

We keep the teams small and stable, to maximize both individual playtime and team bonding.

Professional Coaches & Refs

We have experienced, passionate coaches and referees, to maximize every player's competitive experience. (No parent coaches/refs.)
